2 Minute Blender Hummus

I’m convinced the world is a better place because of hummus. Ok, maybe you’re thinking…is she out of her mind! But before you start wondering what planet I live on, you’re gonna have to try this hummus and draw your own conclusion. 

But I can already tell you this hummus has everything you ever want from a smooth and creamy, good for everything dip or spread or dollop! 

It’s perfect for…

dipping gluten free corn tortilla chips

dunking a carrot or celery stalk in 

topping on your favorite salad 

or a big bowl of roasted veggies and quinoa

and even 

alone as a whopping spoonful 


People really, this is going to be your new best friend for all things delicious. This will take your snacking or lunchtime meal to the next level! 

And the absolute best thing about this hummus? 

It’s so quick and easy with just the use of a high speed blender! It doesn’t get much better than that, folks! 

So, earlier this week I was trying to come up with what to make for lunch. Too often, lunch is kinda a struggle for me. For breakfast I usually have my same routine things…peanut butter and banana on Ezekiel bread or sourdough bread, a bowl of oatmeal or overnight oats, or eggs and toast. I stick with these few things and am very happy! And then for dinner, I basically throw things together or find something in one of my cookbooks or other cookbook…Pinterest. But lunch! I don’t know why but I never know what I’m in the mood for mid day! Usually it ends up being leftovers or a salad conglomeration of whatever is in the fridge. 

But then…THIS HUMMUS! 

I put a dollop on that random array of salad and people, it turned boring salad into crazy good salad! Not to mention a whopping dose of plant-based protein and carbs to keep me going the rest of the day. 

What I love about the flavor of this hummus is it’s pretty mild so it doesn’t overpower whatever it’s paired with, but the creaminess is so comforting and enjoyable. I’m telling you, this is going to be part of my lunches from here on out. 


2 Minute Blender Hummus
Smooth and creamy, can be served with tortilla chips or crackers as a snack, as well as desired veggie for dipping. Also good as a healthy spread of whole grain sprouted bread or dolloped on favorite salad combo.

  1. 1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  2. 1 Tbs tahini
  3. 1/4 cup water
  4. 1 clove of garlic
  5. Juice of 1 lemon
  6. salt to taste
  1. Throw everything into your high speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
